Charlie lived his life with an enthusiasm that was infectious, an enthusiasm for everything he did: singing with children on Sunday mornings; developing strategies with clients and colleagues at Bernstein Shur; building community; creating opportunities for others; giving generously of his time, his resources, his intellect, and his heart.
Charlie was a larger-than-life figure, with a searching and seeking intelligence, and an incredibly generous spirit.
To continue and honor Charlie's work, and to further his legacy, the Charles E. Miller Foundation was formed to extend the impact of the community organizations and interests that Charlie championed.

The Charles E. Miller Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to keep Charlie’s impact moving ever outward in Maine and beyond, an enduring presence in the lives and communities he touched. It is a legacy of love, and 100% of all donations received will go directly to fund nonprofit organizations according to its mission.
